It was reported that the museum was established by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated February 18, 1999. The exhibits here include books, newspapers and magazines reflecting the socio-political activity of the prominent statesman, his glorious life, historical decisions and orders developed and adopted by the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 1990-1993, signed protocols and agreements. , letters and telegrams, souvenirs used and other exhibits. It was noted that the valuable exposition reflecting the rich life of the genius, which does not fit in museums, shows the childhood and youth of our great leader, years of education, his first labor activity, years of leadership of the autonomous republic, his activity as an architect of independent Azerbaijan. Then the guests at the Military Lyceum named after Heydar Aliyev were informed that hundreds of young people from different regions of the country are currently studying at the lyceum, which began operating in 1998 with 56 cadets. The military lyceum, which has an exemplary military training system and a solid material and technical base, plays an important role in providing the armed forces with professional military personnel. The graduates of the lyceum had a great share in the victory with their professionalism and heroism in the Great Patriotic War. The lyceum provides effective organization of education, living and leisure time of cadets, provides an opportunity to watch the daily press, play chess and other sports. The focus is on the health, physical fitness and nutrition of cadets. A medical center equipped with modern equipment, a gym, a football field, outdoor and indoor sports facilities and other facilities have been put into use by the cadets.

The guests got acquainted with the social living conditions of the cadets, dormitories and classrooms.

During the visit, the guests visited various units of the Special Forces and got acquainted with the capabilities of the headquarters and other buildings. The guests were informed at the Training Center that the building has communication, tactical training, guard training, fire training, topography, command training and other classrooms, an event hall. Necessary conditions have been created for mastering the quality of the military training program, increasing the professionalism and theoretical knowledge of the personnel, computers have been installed, visual aids and information stands have been installed. The gym is equipped with simulators for the control of tanks, artillery and other armored vehicles, as well as technical and shooting systems. The simulators teach how to control armored vehicles and how to fire them during combat.

Then the guests got acquainted with the military complexes in the military unit, as well as the park of military equipment and military equipment.
